The Daily Republic, is an award winning newspaper, which has served Davidson County and the surrounding communities with timely news and commentary six days a week. The Daily Republic is circulated to 12,450 households while its counterpart The Adviser Advantage has a circulation of 18,000. The Daily Republic also provides commercial printing services to many local business and agencies. The Daily Republic is proud to provide information and opinions allowing citizens to keep abreast of issues, which allow them to protect and guide the way for change in their communities.

Mitchell with a population of 14,500, sits on the edge of beautiful Lake Mitchell, which offers a variety of recreational activities. The city actively provides a wide variety of youth activities as well. Mitchell hosts Rodeo Days, Dakota Farm Fest and at the worlds only Corn Palace (pictured above), Corn Palace Festival. Dakota Wesleyan University, a liberal art university offers the opportunity for continued education.
