New York City, NY (WDAY TV) – A prestigious honor for WDAY-TV coming out of New York City Tuesday morning.

The National Edward R Murrow Awards were announced today, and our documentary “Trafficked” has been awarded a First Place honor.

The WDAY documentary competed against some of the top television stations in the country.

Reporter Kevin Wallevand and Photographer Cody Rogness wrote and edited “Trafficked”, which documented the growth of Sex Trafficking in the North Dakota Oil Patch.

The National Edward R Murrow Award is considered the top honor in television news.

WDAY-TV will be in New York City this fall to accept the award at a special gala.
