17 Sep Forum Communications announces its Forum Forward class of 2015
FARGO, N.D. — Forum Communications Co. has named its Forum Forward leadership class of 2015. This years class is comprised of 16 FCC employees, divided into two focus groups – experienced leaders and emerging leaders.
In 2008, Forum Communications Company started the Forum Forward program to foster understanding across disciplines so participants could collaborate and learn from people outside their area of specialization. The 16 individuals will engage in training, mentoring and company-wide tours over the course of the next year.
As a regional multimedia company, Forum Communications operates newspapers, TV and radio stations, commercial print facilities, a regional news subscription service, and various creative agency services for clients across the country. Leaders in the organization come from multiple disciplines including news reporting, sales, accounting, human resources, graphic design, technical support and printing press operation.
Each year a diverse group of leaders from across Forum Communications engages in the Forum Forward program, which incorporates a focus on innovation, leadership education and the opportunity to build relationships with others throughout the company. To date, 53 people have graduated from the program.
