Political blogger Port to write for Forum Communications

Rob PortFARGO, N.D. — Conservative blogger and North Dakota media personality Rob Port will become a regular voice in Forum Communications media outlets beginning this week.

Port will contribute to a handful of Forum Communications newspapers as well as the company’s news websites and Fargo-based radio station, AM 970 WDAY.

His focus will be on state politics and current events.

Port has made a name for himself in North Dakota and beyond with his blog, sayanythingblog.com, which he started in 2003. In 2011, he was a finalist for the Watch Dog of the Year from the Sam Adams Alliance and won the Americans For Prosperity Award for Online Excellence. In 2013, the Washington Post named Say Anything as one of the nation’s top state-based political blogs.

Port’s columns will publish in The Forum of Fargo-Moorhead, the Grand Forks Herald, the Dickinson Press and the Jamestown Sun, as well as select regional media outlets via Forum News Service.

Port lives in Minot with his wife and children.
