12 Apr FCC Corporate Earns Spot on United Way of Cass-Clay Most Generous Workplaces List
In March, the United Way Cass-Clay announced that the FCC Corporate office earned a spot on its 2016 list of Top 50 Most Generous Workplaces in Fargo-Moorhead.
FCC Corporate earned number 14 on the list thanks to more than $80,000 donated to United Way; nearly $40,000 of the contribution came from payroll deductions with another $3,000 collected during United Way events.
Employees in the corporate office contributed to United Way by participating in bingo, the Gobble It Up Lunch, sucker pull, and parking raffle. Other events include the sale of ice cream sundaes, tacos, and baked goods.
The most lucrative event was the parking raffle, which saw the coveted United Way parking spot up for grabs for an entire month all year long. The raffle brought in nearly $750 for United Way Cass-Clay.
The sucker pull also proved to be a popular event. Participants had a chance to earn candy, FCC swag, gift cards, PTO, and the United Way parking spot. Nearly $700 was raised during the event.
For 2015, the corporate office raised nearly $2,500 in United Way events.
United Way Cass-Clay recognizes the 50 business as role models for “corporate social responsibility which in turn creates a culture of caring” among employees.
