FARGO, N.D. – The 2013 Forum Forward class recently celebrated its graduation here in Fargo, adding eight more Forum Communications Co. employees to the growing list of Forum Forward alumni. Forum Forward, created in 2009, is designed to build and broaden employee leadership skills. Participants in the program are paired with mentors to help guide them through the program.
Graduates from the program include employees from departments and operations company wide, including South Dakota, North Dakota, Minnesota and Wisconsin.
“Working at a newspaper, I didn’t know a lot about broadcast or commercial printing,” said Lori Weber Menke, 2013 program graduate and multimedia manager of the Grand Forks Herald. “I think learning about all aspects of the company is the biggest benefit of Forum Forward.”
The program’s 2013 theme was “We’re Growing Up.”
“The theme embodies what the Forum Forward program is about and what it means as we wind up one graduation class and kick off another,” said Roger Sievers, a program mentor and multimedia producer at RiverTown Multimedia. “This is only the beginning, and our future for our company is looking bright with the talent we have in this organization.”
