FARGO, N.D. – Forum Communications Co. has appointed two new advertising sales leaders. Amy Fredrickson has been named director of sales operations and Chris Dorsey has been named senior business development manager.
The two appointments will support the aim of the Forum Communications Co. to usher in the new age of advertising. “Both are phenomenal talents and have worked in similar capacities for years,” said Roz Randorf, Forum Communications Co. advertising director.
Fredrickson was previously the advertising director for the Forum of Fargo-Moorhead, and has been with the Forum Communications Co. for 16 years. She will now hold a similar role with expanded involvement in all of the Forum Communications Co. newspaper properties by providing training and support for a variety of advertising programs throughout Forum Communications Co. three dozen media markets in the Midwest. “She will be helping in unifying the network to be a cohesive sales organization,” Randorf said.
Dorsey has been with Forum Communications Co. for 15 years, and previously focused on the training and mentoring of employees throughout the company in digital sales. In his new position he will take on an entrepreneurial role in focusing on partnerships and vendor relationships. “His eyes will be on the horizon for new partner channels,” Randorf said. “He will propel us into the next generation of digital sales.”
